Bandipur Mudhumalai Trip

After a very long gap, we had a chance to hit the road again. This time it is a road trip to Coimbatore via Mysore, Bandipur, Mudhumalai and Ooty.

Total Distance: 400 kms
Time taken: 13 hrs (inclusive of breaks)

Banglaore Mysore road is excellent and saved us much time.

Roads are good till Mudhumalai. Road from Mudhumalai to Ooty via Cuddalore is pathetic and this 67 km stretch ghat road took us about 2.5 hrs.

Weather was good and fortunately Rain God had the mercy on us.

From Mysore, we headed towards Bandipur via Nanjangid, Gundalpet.

When we entered Pykara there was heavy fog and the roads were barely visible.

Finally, we ended our trip near GCT (new entrance to hostel), recollecting the memoir of our bygone college era!

Mangalore Trip (8 and 9 Oct 2005)

In the wake of Santhosh's marraige in Udupi on 8 & 9th Oct 2005, we (Kirit, Pankaj, Gautam and Myself) had a nice drive to Udupi through Mangalore. The ghat road is quiet scenic with greenish sides. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
