Yercaud trip

In the wake of Vasanth's marraige in Salem, we planned for a small get-together among friends. Yercaud was the obvious choice to go for a short day trip. Kudos to Vasanth, inspite of being a bridegroom, provided us all the logistical support.

The day rolled with all the twists and turns.

The climate was serene and misty. It made the whole trip a pleasent memorable experience. Yercaud is famous for its coffee estates. Here is one that we spotted when we pulled for a break on the ghat road.

Dilapidated house in the estate

Need no mention, in a hill station, you ought to see picturesque landscapes and beautiful flowers. Here is the yellow one.

Nag arranged for lunch in the Highways Bungalow in greenish woods.

We visited Shervarayan Temple which is the highest point in Yercaud. A view of thick valley from there.
